Development and production of special events for CD4 for seven consecutive years from 2008-2015, working with numerous City departments, including LAPD and LAFD. Events included the City of L.A.'s "My Three Sons Day in Los Angeles" featuring original cast members Barry Livingston, Stanley Livingston, Tim Considine, and Tina Cole and special guests Butch Patrick from "The Munsters" and Dave Stollery of Disney's "Spin and Marty" series.

CRUISE NIGHT (1994-2005)
In response to the 1994 World Cup in Southern California, Roland Communications conceived the Glendale Summer Street Parties (“Cruise Night” and “Country-Western Night”), two street concerts on Brand Boulevard designed to attract international tourists to the streets of Glendale.
Roland was responsible for talent bookings, public relations; publicity; advertising; marketing; promotion; sponsorship; staging; sound; backstage receptions; coordination of special guests and attractions; and more.
GLENDALE SUMMER STREET PARTIES
Roland booked, produced, and promoted three annual “Summer Street Parties” with such artists as Eric Burdon and the Animals, Jefferson Starship, Iron Butterfly, Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Spirit, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Elvin Bishop, Spencer Davis, and many others.
Designed and produced all point-of-sale creative and production for US automotive dealerships for the Disney Pixar film CARS, including life-size mobiles, standees, banners, posters, balloons, advertising snipes, and other display materials.

Comprehensive marketing and public relations for one of the largest providers of state-funded training in California. Since 1985, GCC has trained over 33,000 employees from over 4,300 companies, including the Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., Nestle, WorleyParsons, Crane Aerospace and Electronics, and the Vought Commercial Division of Triumph Aerostructures.
THE GROVE AT FARMERS MARKET: CULTURAL DAY AT THE GROVE (2009-Present)
Produce, market, and promote the Sister Cities of Los Angeles “Cultural Day at the Grove” (at Farmers Market), a four-hour celebration of international dance and music. Coordination of all logistics with Caruso Affiliates; structure, script, and direct the program for live broadcast on L.A. Cityview 35; recruit all entertainment and the following consul generals and dignitaries:

Over 100 musicians, dancers, and singers performed in the Grove’s outdoor park representing the cities of Nagoya, Japan; Eilat, Israel; Jakarta, Indonesia; Beirut, Lebanon; Mumbai, India; Taipei, Taiwan; Berlin, Germany; Mexico City, Mexico; and Lusaka, Zambia. Performances range from ten minutes to forty-five minutes and include dance groups from Indonesia, Taiwan, Lebanon, and Mumbai; Berlin’s recreation of 1930s German cabarets; and Mexico City’s 45-piece orchestra of children age 6 to 19, Banda Juvenil Santiago Comaltepec.
Fourteen-year representation as agency of record for an association of up to twenty-eight Harley-Davidson dealerships in California, serving as a liaison with corporate offices in Milwaukee on co-op advertising campaigns and special promotions.

Walter Roland Moore was the speechwriter for the automotive legend from 2005 through 2007. He worked closely with Mr. Iacocca drafting concepts for over a dozen speeches, including the unveiling of the $300,000 Mercedes-Benz Maybach 65. Designed and produced annual fundraising galas and special events for Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center Foundation in Burbank and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center Foundation in Mission Hills for 6 years. Gala marketing materials included sponsorship programs and packages, invitation packages, signage, and other collateral. Venues included the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (International Ballroom—home of the Golden Globe Awards), the Sheraton-Universal Hotel, the Autry Museum, and the Biltmore.
